Fans at the upcoming 2010 Super GT International Series at Sepang International Circuit will have an unparalleled opportunity to get an even-closer-than-usual look at the adrenalin-filled race.
Known as the Circuit Safari, fans would be placed on low-loader buses going around the track while the drivers in their GT500 and GT300 machines battle around the 5.543-km track during their practice session on Sunday, June 20, right before the race starts.
Such an experience is unique and the Super GT is the only race which provides such an opportunity for race fans.
The Circuit Safari passes are priced at RM100 each and that SIC would provide 10 buses which will be traversing the track from 11.20am to 11.45am on Race Day.
In conjunction with the 2010 Super GT International Series, children will have the opportunity to take part in the pitwalkabout for free, where they can take a closer look at the goings-on in the pit.
The children's pitwalkabout will be held from 6pm to 6.45pm on Saturday, June 19.
The SuperGT Championship will also be holding many other attractions for the children, such as a dance competition. The SIC Children's Program will be held as follows :
Super GT Queens Megumi Hatori (Mimi), 22, and Kozue Nitta (Koko), 26 have been making their rounds in KL, meeting up with members of the public at various spots. Mimi and Koko are members of the 2010 SUPER GT Series Image Girl and are professional models in Japan.
