More than 2500 children of various ages came for the Super GT Kids Pit Walkabout program at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) today.

The program allowed children to get up close to the Super GT race cars and team at the pits for free instead of having to pay RM100 for the entry.

It was initiated by SIC to start a new generation of motorsports fans and also give the parents a new venue for the family to go to together.

“It was really exciting, a very good program and worth coming for, I’m sure to come again when I have the chance,” said Haikal Zulkifli who was escorted by his uncle.

About 300 underprivileged children were also present invited as special guest for the event.

The famous conjoined twins Ahmad and Muhammad Rosli almost simultaneously said “fun” when asked about the program.

Ahmad added they love the freebies they received from the teams.
Race teams were passing out freebies such as stickers, stationeries and toys at the event.
