Baharuddin Brothers On Special Mission at Malaysian Super Series
Malaysian Super Series (MSS) bike competitions enters its second round this weekend at Sepang Circuit and all eyes would be on the Baharuddin brothers – Ahmad Zamani and Ahmad Nashrul Zamani as they declare themselves ready to pick up maximum championship points.

With Zamani expected to have his new bike to challenge defending champion Brent Odgers in the Superbike Championship, Ahmad Nashrul would be armed with renewed confidence and solid determination to overcome his rivals in his own battle to defend his 135cc Production Bike Championship.

"I feel good; I am confident and ready to put up my best effort this weekend," says Ahmad Nashrul, who currently leads the 135cc Production Bike Championship as well as the battle of the 150cc machines in the Kawasaki Cup.

Acknowledging that he has a challenging task this weekend to match his opening round feat, the 25-year old rider from Kuala Lumpur said that he would be determined to maintain that winning streak and take a firm control on the two championships.

Ahmad Nashrul scored a double win in the Kawasaki Cup to take a maximum 50 points in Round 1 while a win and fifth placing in the 135cc Production Bike Championship gave him 41 points and the three-point lead over R. Suresh in the championship.

Currently second with nine points behind Odgers with 41 points in the Superbike Championship, Ahmad Zamani said that he would be going all out to give his Kawasaki Malaysia Racing Team its first Malaysian Super Series title.

With a new Kawasaki ZX10R, Zamani said he believed that he would have the machine to match the speed of the Honda CBR1000 prepared by the Pineapple Motorsports Racing Team for the Australian rider, who was unstoppable in the opening round.

Overall champion in 2003 and 2007, Odgers again showed that he was the man to beat for the Superbike crown as the Australian opened the new season in style with a double win to take a maximum 50 points at Sepang Circuit.

Apart from the Superbike and 135cc Production Bike Championship, the MSS round this weekend would also feature races from the 600cc Supersports Championship and the Bikerz Cup.

Qualifying would be held on Saturday (May 24) and Race Day would on Sunday, May 25.
