THE KL Tower Racing Team are hoping to be third time lucky when they start this year’s Petronas Merdeka Millennium Endurance (MME) race this weekend.

After drawing blanks the last two years, the team’s director Datuk Zulkifli Mohamad said they were aiming for a podium finish this time around.

“With a lineup of experienced racers and the Satria R3 machine, I am confident our dream of a podium finish will happpen,” Zulkifli said.

Admi Shahrul Ahmad Saffian, Khaidi Kamarudin and newcomer Adian Yeih Khalid will be taking on the challenge in the 12-hour race for the KL Tower team.

A total of 102 cars in different categories will start this year’s race at the Sepang International Circuit.
