For RM203, you can enjoy the best of two worlds : the world's biggest motor racing event at Sepang Circuit and a showcase of world class musical performance in Kuala Lumpur.
In a joint promotion by Sepang International Circuit (SIC) and Pineapple Concerts - promoters of Sunburst KL '08 featuring top international artistes including the famous Incubus and Malaysia's legendary rock group Search ; fans would only need to pay RM200 for tickets to enjoy both the musical festival and the 2008 Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix.
"Pineapple Concerts is planning for an unforgettable day of musical bliss for festival goers where not only will they enjoy continuous live music for 12 hours, but will also be able to experience and participate in other fun and exciting activities," says Razlan Tan Sri Ahmad Razali, who is chairman of Pineapple Concerts.
Among the activities that fans can indulge themselves at the musical festival in Kuala Lumpur are live graffiti, art demos, human foosball, dance battles, fire-eaters, mechanical rodeo bull, henna tattoos, drum
circle and many more.
Apart from Incubus, the other international artistes to perform at Sunburst KL '08 included John Legend, The Roots, Incogito and popular Indonesian band, GIGI and Gerhana Ska Cinta of Singapore. They would be backed up by top local artistes including the up-and-coming band Estranged, Joe Flizzow, Atilia, Pop Shuvit and Che Nelle.
True to its tagline "The Fun Starts Here", Sunburst KL '08 would be held at Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club on March 15, kicking off a host of activities organized by Kuala Lumpur City Hall to hype up the activities
in promoting the 2008 Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix.
Organised under the Kuala Lumpur Grand Prix City programme, other events to follow included the KL Vintage and Classic Car Concours at Dataran Merdeka on March 16; STYLO KL Fashion Festival at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur
from March 15 to 22; KLGP City Festival at Bintang Walk from March 15 to 22; a free for all concert by ING featuring All-4-One; Reshmonu, Dayang Nurfaizah and Ning Baizura on March 22 at Bintang Walk; Speed Zone Tour 2008 at KL Tower on March 22 and the Black Circuit Paddock Party on March 22 at The Zouk Kuala Lumpur.
Race tickets sold under this RM200-package would provide seats at the popular covered C2 Hillstand, which provides perfect viewing of the slow Turns 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and fast one-kilometer long back straight
where the F1 cars would accelerate as fast as 300km per hour.

Sepang would stage the second round of the 2008 Formula One World Championship from March 21 to 23, which would also feature four support races - the Speedcar Series, the GP2 Asia Series, Formula BMW Pacific and
the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.
The new 18-round championship would open in Melbourne at the Australian Grand Prix next week from March 13 to 16.
