AS Sepang International Circuit becomes the centre on the sporting world for hosting the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday (April 5), the all Malaysian Hands Percussions Performers has been assigned to get the race started.

The group which is made of 38 wushu exponents and 41 drummers will deliver music and sounds with tasteful harmony and in a thunderous note from drums beating rhythmically and in unison.

The music played will be from an original track written specifically by the Hands Percussion Drummers.

The drum group comprising of Malaysian students from every ethnic background, will be supported by the vigor and physical aesthetics and movements delivered by a renowned Wushu Dance Troupe.

"Like our tagline, this performance is 'alive with adrenaline' as well. With the thousands of eager fans on the stands, I'm sure the lively performance will set the right tempo before the start of the race," said SIC CEO Razlan Razali.

After the race, Jamiroquai is scheduled to entertain the fans in an exclusive concert for ticket holders.
